The Line Edit focuses on the writing itself. Its aim is to help you make your writing stronger and tighter. I will look at
The Line Edit looks at every single sentence and includes a lot of in-document mark-ups and comments, deletions, and insertions (using MS Word's track changes). I will not comment on plot or characters.
This is the perfect option for those who are confident that the story itself is already in perfect shape. If not, you might end up having to invest in a second round of line edits following a revision or rewrite. That's why I recommend you wait with the Line Edit until you're happy with the content side of your novel.

Should you like another Line Edit following your revision, I'm happy to offer you a second pass for 30% off the initial rate.
However, I will need visible MS Word's track changes so I can follow what exactly has changed in your manuscript. If you'd like a different follow-up service, just get in touch for a specific rate.
I generally try to avoid rushing through a manuscript unless absolutely necessary as I like to make sure I can give a manuscript the time and attention it deserves. That's why I usually ask for 4 weeks for a full edit. A faster turnaround is possible but not guaranteed. However, if necessary, I do offer an "express service". Since such a short turnaround has an enormous impact on my entire schedule, this needs to be discussed in advance and is subject to a surcharge. (Guaranteed 3-week turnaround = +15%; guaranteed 2-week turnaround = +25%; guaranteed 1-week turnaround = +35%)
