Three Chapter Critique (up to 60 pages)

While some agents ask for the first three chapters in their submission guidelines, others request them because they found your pitch promising. Either way, your first three chapters need to draw the agent or editor in enough to want to read the rest of your manuscript.

The Three Chapter Critique is an evaluation of the manuscript's first three chapters/ 60 pages and outlines the strengths and weaknesses in regards to plot, characterization, voice, world building, pacing, etc. The critique will be returned to you in form of an editorial letter and also includes in-document comments, deletions, and insertions.

This service includes a Query Letter Critique (one pass).

Rates: $125; $175 incl. a second pass; line edits will be an extra $35
